What should you know before choosing a São Paulo circuit poster?
An Interlagos circuit poster represents the 4.309 km anti-clockwise loop in southern São Paulo. Sporting notation counts fifteen turns: the route changes direction broadly at the start, drops into a winding infield and then climbs again. Its outline therefore combines a large outer return, a compact central section and a long curve towards the main straight. OwnHomeMap turns that geometry into a portrait poster with customizable colours and optional text. The protected preview lets the buyer inspect narrow spaces, margins and legibility before payment. A confirmed order provides a 4961 × 7016 pixel PNG without the preview watermark. Those dimensions follow A2 proportions and support printing at 42 × 59.4 cm, or 16.5 × 23.4 inches, at 300 DPI. For this eligible circuit, the cart can also offer one A4 or A3 portrait print while the PNG remains included; checkout collects delivery details when that option is selected. The drawing can recall São Paulo, the venue’s elevation or a motor-racing memory without a logo or claim of official affiliation.
Circuit history
Construction began in 1938 and Brazil’s first motor-racing venue opened on 12 May 1940. The original route measured 7.960 km before an initial reduction in 1979. Major work at the end of the 1980s shortened the loop to 4.325 km. Further adjustments from the 2000s established the documented 4.309 km length. That history helps explain why the modern shape retains a broad outer envelope around a much more compact infield.
Why this circuit is distinctive
Interlagos appears almost carved into a bowl. A broad loop wraps around a winding infield before the line returns uphill through one extended curve. Its anti-clockwise direction and elevation explain the unusual silhouette without relying on race results. On a poster, the shape uses vertical space effectively while retaining a detailed centre. It remains recognisable with a restrained palette and no branded elements.
Customization guidance
Deep green, mineral blue or charcoal gives the complex infield a calm background. Use a light line thin enough to separate nearby bends around the centre. Muted yellow, copper or ivory can accent the title without borrowing a livery. Place the dedication in the lower margin rather than inside the route. In the preview, inspect the small upper hook, winding infield and broad outer climb.
Printing guidance
Download the final file from the confirmed order and retain its 4961 × 7016 pixel definition. For A2 printing, select portrait output without additional enlargement or automatic cropping. Matte paper helps distinguish nearby segments, while satin stock adds depth to brighter colours. Check a proof before producing a large print. If reducing the format, preserve the exact file ratio and avoid prior compression.
