Report image theft

OwnHomeMap posters belong to the customer who created them. If you find one of our designs — or yours — resold or reused without authorization on Instagram, Etsy, or elsewhere, here is how to react quickly.

Locate the trace ID in the watermark

Every image generated on /design carries a short identifier shaped like "OHM-XXXXXXXX" baked into the diagonal watermark and the four corner stamps. That identifier is unique to the session of the visitor who first saw the image — it is our proof of priority.

Screenshot the stolen content

Capture the post or product page that re-uses your image, keeping the URL and the username visible. Note the trace ID if you can read it in the watermark.

Send us the evidence

Email hello@ownhomemap.com with: the stolen URL, your screenshot, and the trace ID. We cross-reference our PreviewTrace logs immediately to confirm the origin and provide you with a priority attestation.

File the DMCA takedown
