Terms of Service

Preamble

These Terms of Service govern all sales made on the website ownhomemap.com, published by ROCKETDEV, sole proprietor, SIRET 890 214 380 00028, 14160 Dives-sur-Mer, France. Any order implies unreserved acceptance of these Terms.

Article 1 — Purpose

These Terms define the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of the sale of personalized city map posters offered by ownhomemap.com.

Article 2 — Products and services

OwnHomeMap offers the following products:

• Digital product: high-resolution PNG file of a personalized city map poster, available for download after payment.
• Printed posters on 210 g/m² professional photo paper with a glossy finish, available in A4, US Letter, A3, 30×40 cm, A2, 16×20 and 18×24 in formats.

Each city map poster is generated according to the customer's specifications (location, radius, style, custom text).

Article 3 — Prices

Prices are listed in euros (€), all taxes included. VAT not applicable under article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.

• US Letter print: €29
• 16×20 inch print: €45

Prices may be modified at any time. Orders are invoiced based on the prices in effect at the time of order validation.

Article 4 — Order and payment

The customer customizes their city map poster using the online tool, selects the desired format, then proceeds to payment. Payment is made by credit card through the secure Stripe platform. Upon receipt of full payment, the personalized order is confirmed and becomes final, with no cancellation possible even if printing has not started. A confirmation email is sent to the customer.

Article 5 — Delivery

Digital product

The digital file is available for immediate download after payment confirmation. A download link is sent by email, valid for 30 days.

Physical prints

Production takes 3 to 5 business days, followed by shipping of 3 to 10 business days depending on destination. These timeframes are estimates.

Article 6 — Right of withdrawal

For products to which no statutory exception applies, articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code provide a 14-day withdrawal period from receipt of the product.

Digital content exception: in accordance with article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium when performance has begun with the consumer's consent and acknowledgment that they lose their right of withdrawal. Before confirming any order that provides access to the digital file, the customer must tick a separate box requesting immediate performance and acknowledging the loss of that right once the download begins.

Custom product exception: in accordance with article L221-28 3° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized. City map posters being generated according to the customer's parameters (location, radius, text), they constitute personalized products.

Since prints are made to order based on the customer's specifications, they also fall under the exception provided by article L221-28 3°. In case of a printing defect or shipping damage, the customer may contact hello@ownhomemap.com so the request can be reviewed.

Article 7 — Legal guarantee of conformity

In accordance with articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the customer benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity. In the event of a conformity defect, the customer may request repair or replacement of the product under the conditions provided by law.

Article 8 — Liability

ROCKETDEV commits to providing city map posters that are as accurate as possible, based on verified geographic data (OpenStreetMap). However, ROCKETDEV cannot be held liable for indirect damages resulting from the use of the website or products. The liability of ROCKETDEV is limited to the order amount.

Article 9 — Personal data

Personal data collected during the ordering process is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at ownhomemap.com/privacy.

Article 10 — Dispute mediation

In the event of a dispute, the customer may use the consumer mediation service free of charge. The competent mediator is the Centre de Médiation et d'Arbitrage de Paris (CMAP), 39 avenue Franklin D. Roosevelt, 75008 Paris — cmap.fr. The customer may also file a complaint on the European Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Article 11 — Applicable law

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless otherwise provided by applicable consumer protection laws.
