What should you know before choosing a Mexico City circuit poster?
A Mexico City circuit poster represents a 4.304 km, seventeen-turn loop set at approximately 2,285 metres above sea level. Its silhouette combines a long main straight, a dense sequence of esses and a compact passage through the former Foro Sol stadium before the final corner. OwnHomeMap recentres this route in a portrait format with customizable colours and optional short text. The protected preview lets the buyer inspect nearby segments, contrast and margins before payment. Once the order is confirmed, the download provides a 4961 × 7016 pixel PNG without the watermark. Its ratio follows A2 proportions and supports printing at 42 × 59.4 cm, or 16.5 × 23.4 inches, at 300 DPI. For this eligible circuit, the cart can also offer one A4 or A3 portrait print; the PNG remains included and a frame is not included. The artwork can recall the city, its altitude or the stadium atmosphere through route geometry alone, without a logo, mark or claim of official affiliation.
Circuit history
The circuit was built in 1959 inside the Magdalena Mixiuhca sports park using existing internal roads. A non-championship race took place in 1962 before the event joined the championship in 1963. The venue is named after brothers Ricardo and Pedro Rodríguez. Following a long absence after 1992, a federation-supervised renovation transformed the route for its 2015 return. It retained the circuit’s identity while adding the stadium section and revising the esses.
Why this circuit is distinctive
Mexico City draws a strongly horizontal, almost arrow-like profile interrupted by two concentrations of corners. The straight creates a clear base on the left, the esses form a set of teeth through the centre and the stadium produces a small hook before closure on the right. This sequence distinguishes the route without an aerial image. Its close central direction changes still need enough negative space to remain legible at A2 and at reduced sizes.
Customization guidance
A deep-green, burgundy, black or sand background with a cream, mineral-pink or copper line gives the horizontal sections presence. Keep the route fine through the esses and stadium hook. Leave generous side margins so the composition does not feel compressed. Place the dedication beneath the long base. In the preview, inspect the central teeth, stadium loop and continuity through the final corner.
Printing guidance
Download the final 4961 × 7016 pixel PNG from the confirmed order. For A2 output, retain portrait orientation and disable automatic cropping even though the silhouette is wide. Matte paper separates the esses more clearly under direct lighting, while satin stock strengthens warmer colours. Request a proof to inspect the small stadium passage. For a smaller print, scale the original file proportionally and avoid any service that compresses images.
