What should you know before choosing a Imola circuit poster?

An Imola circuit poster represents the 4.909 km, nineteen-turn anti-clockwise loop set between the Santerno river and the town’s hills. Its outline combines one long upper section, several tight chicanes and an angular lower return. OwnHomeMap isolates this geometry in a portrait composition with customizable colours and optional short text. The protected preview lets the buyer inspect small gaps, contrast and margins before payment. A confirmed order unlocks a 4961 × 7016 pixel PNG without the preview watermark. This ratio follows A2 proportions and contains enough pixels for printing at 42 × 59.4 cm, or 16.5 × 23.4 inches, at 300 DPI. For this eligible circuit, the cart can also offer one A4 or A3 portrait print; the PNG remains included and a frame is not included. The poster can recall Imola, a visit to Emilia-Romagna or the route’s technical character while keeping the line as its sole visual focus, without a logo or claim of official affiliation.

Circuit history

The foundation stone was laid in 1950 on the right bank of the Santerno and the venue opened in 1953. A non-championship single-seater race followed in 1963 before the first championship event in 1980. The venue adopted its present name in 1988. Several sections were altered for safety after the events of 1994. A modernization completed between 2006 and 2007 rebuilt the pits and opened the final part of the lap for cars.

Why this circuit is distinctive

Imola follows the terrain rather than forming a regular geometric loop. The line first stretches almost horizontally, drops into a compact hook and returns through asymmetric bends and curves. Its anti-clockwise direction and irregular negative spaces make the silhouette identifiable without a photograph. Closely spaced sections around the chicanes still require a precise route weight to remain legible in print.

Customization guidance

A deep-red, ivory or copper line on black emphasizes the outline’s rhythm changes. Forest green or stone tones can suggest the setting without adding literal scenery. Keep the route fine through the lower hook and chicanes, then leave more air around the long upper branch. Place the dedication beneath the circuit. In the preview, inspect both central returns, the right-hand point and separation between the lower segments.

Printing guidance

Download the final PNG from the confirmed order and keep all 4961 × 7016 pixels. For A2 output, select portrait printing without automatic cropping or enlargement. Matte paper preserves chicane detail on a dark background, while satin stock strengthens brighter colours. Request a proof if the central segments appear to touch. For a smaller size, scale the file proportionally and always provide the printer with the original uncompressed image.
