Circuit history
Spa-Francorchamps has been winding through the Belgian Ardennes forests since 1925. It's the longest circuit on the calendar at over 7 km. The Eau Rouge/Raidillon corner is one of the most famous and feared passages in motorsport — a blind uphill flat-out that tests the nerves of the world's best drivers.
Why this circuit is special
Spa is the favorite circuit of most F1 drivers. Its layout follows the natural topography of the Ardennes, creating a circuit where elevation plays a crucial role. The changeable weather can turn a dry race into a deluge in minutes.
